Great experience. Shrimp and squash casserole were excellent. Very inviting atmosphere and super staff. Owner was right there working with everyone. It shows he really cares about this restaurant. Too bad we live in Texas and can't enjoy it often!
This place is fantastic. Went with my family (9) for a birthday celebration. The food was phenomenal! I am obsessed with the Cajun chicken. Everyone's food was delicious. The peach cobbler is to die for. The service was above and beyond our expectations. We will be returning...very soon I hope!
Probably the best American restaurant in Tuscaloosa. The Cajun chicken pasta was phenomenal and the garlic bread that accompanied it was on the same level, grilled garlic bread is something I now need in my everyday life. I got the grilled asparagus as my side and I honestly don't think there is any way for it to be better or improved upon. I cannot wait to try the drinks and desserts. Not only will I be back but I will be back for any occasion I can rationalize even if the occasion is simply "because I want to".
OMG how locals aren't swarming to this restaurant is beyond me. We're from Texas and found this restaurant on a road trip and WOW. I had a beef filet and in Texas ee know steak...it was one of the best I've had. Was disappointed they didn't have baked potatoes but it forced me to try mac & cheese & disappointed no more. It was delicious. Asparagus grilled to perfection. Dinner mate had smothered steak & loved it. Squash casserole is so good. Peach cobbler was a bit lacking in juice but very good. Shelby was our server & was attentive & an excellent personable server. If I could give a 10, I would.
My family and I just had the BEST time at this amazing restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious – seriously, so flavorful and yummy! The whole place had such a warm and inviting vibe, we felt right at home. We loved it so much we're already planning our next visit! And get this – their 5 mimosa is incredible! Seriously, the prices for both food and drinks were unbelievably reasonable, especially compared to what we're used to in Atlanta. It was such a refreshing change! Chef's kiss, indeed! We'll definitely be back!
I didn’t know about this place until a friend invited me out. Everything was great. Owner came by our table and made sure everything was great. Server was sweet and patient with us. Drinks were worth the price. 10/10 recommend.
We found this place by accident while travel from New Orleans to TN, and it was a wonderful surprise. The food was so flavorful and well crafted, and I especially enjoyed the squash casserole and white cheddar mac & cheese with sausage. I got smoked chicken as my entree, hubby got catfish. Very generous portions. I also loved that they have some side options that are outside the norm of what I am used to finding in restaurants. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are down this way.
